Project Summary
ATI Systems develops outdoor warning sirens and emergency communication solutions used by municipalities, military installations, industrial facilities, and emergency management agencies. Their products play a critical role in public safety, helping communities communicate rapidly during severe weather events, industrial incidents, and other emergencies where timely notification can save lives.
As ATI Systems expanded its presence within Texas through statewide flood warning initiatives and continued to serve a growing range of public-sector clients, the company needed a website capable of presenting complex technical information with clarity while reinforcing its credibility as an industry leader.
My Role
I was responsible for the information architecture, visual design, and WordPress development of the website. The project involved organizing a large volume of product and solution content into an intuitive structure, establishing a scalable visual design system, and creating a modern online presence that reflected the company's technical expertise and long-standing reputation in the emergency communications industry.
Design & Development Highlights
A primary objective of the project was to create a cohesive visual identity that could extend beyond the website itself. I developed typography, color, and styling standards that strengthened brand consistency and provided a foundation the client could continue using across future marketing materials and communications.
The site's visual language incorporates custom animated elements inspired by ATI Systems' existing branding. Subtle motion graphics derived from the company's circular logo patterns introduce movement and visual interest while maintaining a professional, technical aesthetic appropriate for the industry. The homepage experience was further enhanced through custom-edited video content and synchronized animated messaging designed to immediately communicate the importance of reliable emergency notification systems.
Because ATI Systems serves a diverse audience ranging from municipal decision-makers to industrial safety professionals, careful attention was given to site organization and navigation. Custom mega menus and a thoughtfully structured content hierarchy help visitors quickly locate relevant information, even across a large and technically detailed website.
The resulting design system was built with long-term growth in mind, allowing ATI Systems to continue expanding its digital presence as new programs, products, and initiatives are introduced. This flexibility has supported the company's ongoing efforts to communicate with public-sector organizations and communities seeking modern emergency warning solutions.
