Design Portfolio
Websites
I’ve built these recent websites using WordPress and the Elementor page builder, with a focus on something our clients really value: once the site is finished, they can take it over themselves. With just a bit of training, which I usually walk them through, they’re able to make their own updates and edits without needing to rely on us for every change. Many still come back to us for larger updates or new features, but they appreciate knowing the site is truly theirs to manage and that nothing is hidden behind a curtain.

Logos
This collection represents a range of logo work, most of which are original designs created for new brands and organizations. Each one reflects a close collaboration with the client. My goal is never to impose a personal style, but to translate their vision into something functional, adaptable, and memorable. I work to understand not just what they want visually, but what the logo needs to communicate and how it will live across different media.
A couple of pieces here are exceptions to the “from-scratch” approach. The Sam La Grassa’s logo is a vectorized simplification of their existing illustrated mark, created to work in single-color print scenarios without losing its character. The Alvamed AI logo is a spinoff adaptation of the parent company’s branding – the blue-yellow graphic was reimagined (and animated) to signal a distinct identity while staying connected to the original.
Print Projects
While most of my recent work centers on digital design, especially websites, I continue to approach every project with print considerations in mind. This is particularly important in logo development, where I prepare variations that perform reliably across different background colors, production methods, and monochrome applications.
I have the opportunity, from time to time, to create printed pieces such as mailers, posters, and brochures. Here are a few examples of that work.
Quaero Trade Show Banners
Quaero gave us months of notice that they’d need a series of about a dozen silk banners printed for a trade show, where they were promoting their new production facilities in the US Boston region. But they waited right up until just a few days before the printer needed final files to get me the content needed to design from. So these things were generated in a rush!
I did have time previously to study the brand and learn learn their style and prepare some basic design assets. Still, generating a dozen (often fairly text-heavy) banner graphics was a tall order. As I generated graphics, our Quaero USA partner was providing real-time feedback in our office, editing some word choices or photo selection – it was a whirlwind of activity, but we pulled it off. The photo of the trade show here shows the presentation area in progress (they were so busy, I don’t think anyone took great photos during the event) but by all accounts, it came together just as envisioned.
Granite Peak Brewing - Pack Monadnock Trail Ale
A conceptual brand and packaging system for a fictional New Hampshire brewery. The design centers on a rugged, place‑driven identity inspired by local trail culture, with a session IPA named for Pack Monadnock.
Northline Coffee Roasters Packaging
Before working full-time as a designer, I found success as a coffee roaster, where my roasts routinely scored over 90 points with the celebrated Kenneth Davids at Coffee Review. Needless to say, I still have a soft spot for coffee and, even more so now as a professional designer, for coffee packaging.
This project was simply a personal, vanity exercise. The company and coffee are made up, but the packaging style and clean legibility of the labeling is on point with the kind of styling I’d bring to my own brand if I were ever (I won’t be) to get back into the industry.
ISDS program
For their trade show a few years ago, this brochure became the template that the client followed for subsequent years. The biggest challenge of this project was organizing the text-heavy program information in legible tables. The client provided frequently modified data leading up to the event, requiring constant collaboration and adaptability, right up to the moment just days before the file needed to be sent to printers to insert a series of advertisement pages and in memoriam message.
Dolphin Insulation Mailer
The project here was quite straightforward; the client knew what they wanted to communicate and the format of the mailer they wanted to send – I just needed to get the information all laid out handsomely. The illustration and photos were sourced from stock photo sites.
Videos
Many clients use video as visual reinforcement – a dynamic backdrop that supports the primary message of a homepage. Creating a loop that feels seamless and engaging requires careful choices: the right footage, the right pacing, and transitions that hold a viewer’s attention without overwhelming the content. It’s a balance I’ve become skilled at, as seen in the Health Equity Solutions or Cam’s Demo homepage videos.
I’ve also taken on projects that require motion graphics and more technical editing, working primarily in DaVinci Resolve. Examples include the partner‑logo animation for LexMar Global (the version shown here is my preferred cut) and the straightforward but technically demanding ACAF product demonstration.
I’m not claiming Hollywood credentials, but I’ve built a solid foundation in video editing and motion graphics, and I’m ready to take on more complex challenges as they come.
