Project Summary
Crossroads Contracting is an award-winning design-build remodeling firm serving southern New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts. With more than three decades of experience, the company specializes in transforming existing homes through thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship, and a collaborative remodeling process. Their work spans kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and whole-home renovations, with an emphasis on creating spaces that are both beautiful and highly functional.
My Role
I was responsible for the visual design, brand styling, WordPress development, and overall user experience of the website. The objective was to create a polished online presence that reflected the company's craftsmanship while making it easy for prospective clients to explore projects, learn about the remodeling process, and gain confidence in the Crossroads team.
Design & Development Highlights
A central goal of the project was to establish a cohesive visual identity that reflected the quality of Crossroads Contracting's work. I developed typography, color, and styling standards that created a clean, professional aesthetic while providing a consistent brand foundation the company could extend into future marketing materials and client communications.
Because completed projects are one of the firm's strongest selling points, I designed and developed a custom portfolio system using a WordPress custom post type with dynamic category filtering. Rather than presenting projects as a static gallery, the system allows visitors to browse work by project type, making it easier to discover examples that match their own remodeling goals while giving the client a flexible framework for showcasing new projects as their portfolio continues to grow.
The site's interior pages were individually designed to support a wide range of content, from services and project galleries to company culture and the remodeling process. Each page was tailored to its specific purpose while maintaining a consistent visual language and intuitive navigation throughout the site.
The result is a scalable website that showcases the company's craftsmanship, reinforces its reputation for quality, and provides a flexible platform capable of growing alongside the business as new projects and services are added.
