Project Summary

LexMar Global designs and manufactures specialized measurement instrumentation for the petrochemical industry, with a focus on polyolefin reactor optimization and quality control. Their electrostatic sensors and magnetic resonance analysis systems help manufacturers monitor reactor conditions in real time, catching issues like fouling and agglomeration before they cause costly shutdowns. With service and agent locations spanning the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, LexMar serves a global base of process engineers and plant operators who rely on precise, trustworthy technical information to evaluate and integrate this equipment into their operations.

My Role

I led the content architecture and technical documentation build for the site, along with producing motion graphics used to explain LexMar's product line to a broader, less technically specialized audience.

Design & Development Highlights

LexMar's product line is inherently document-heavy — application notes explaining specific measurement techniques, detailed product specification sheets, and technical resource materials that engineers rely on when evaluating new equipment. Rather than treat these as static downloads, I built a set of custom post types and templates that organize this material by product line and application, giving visitors clear pathways to find the exact technical resource relevant to their process — and giving LexMar's team a straightforward way to publish new documentation without needing developer support for every update.

A significant part of that work involved rethinking how the company's existing print-designed PDFs lived online. Technical literature built for print doesn't translate directly to the web: it's invisible to search engines, awkward to read on a phone, and easy for a prospective customer to bounce off of. I adapted these documents into fully web-native, SEO-friendly pages that preserve the technical rigor engineers expect while making the content discoverable and usable wherever it's accessed — turning what had been a library of disconnected downloads into a body of indexed, searchable resources that actively support the sales process.

Because LexMar's instrumentation works inside sealed industrial reactors, much of what it does is inherently invisible — hard to explain with text and photos alone. To address that, I produced motion graphics and video content in DaVinci Resolve, including custom 3D asset work in Blender, to visually walk through how the equipment functions within a live production process. That gave LexMar a way to communicate technically sophisticated concepts clearly and credibly to an audience that includes both engineers and non-technical decision-makers.

The client (LexMar Global) ultimately preferred a more hectic, busy-looking video, but this was my preferred approach.
